Fermented liquid biofertilizer
If the biol smells bad—like rot—instead of sweet and fermented, something has come into contact with the air: check the airtight seal and the vent valve. For foliar application, dilute 1 liter of biol in 10 to 20 liters of water. For soil irrigation, apply 1 to 2 liters per mature plant, diluted. Always use manure from healthy animals and chlorine-free water.
1) Mix the fresh manure with clean water in a plastic container with an airtight lid (50 to 200 liters, depending on the amount you want to prepare). 2) Add the dissolved molasses and plant scraps. 3) Add the buttermilk, if using it. 4) Seal the container tightly, installing a water-trap-style vent (a hose submerged in a bottle of water) to release gases without letting air in. 5) Let it ferment for 30 to 60 days, depending on the ambient temperature. 6) You’ll know it’s ready when it stops producing gas, has a dark brown color, and a sweet, fermented smell—never a rotten smell.
A dark brown liquid with a sweet, fermented odor, rich in nutrients and phytohormones produced during anaerobic fermentation, used in diluted form as a foliar or irrigation biostimulant.
