Application

Application description : Diluir antes de aplicar: aproximadamente 1:10 para uso como insecticida/repelente en pulverización foliar, o 1:20 para uso como fertilizante foliar o de riego. Aplicar preferentemente por la mañana o al atardecer. Repetir cada 10-15 días.

Tips

Freshly strained liquid manure can be stored for a few months in a cool place away from light, in a tightly sealed container (it has a strong odor). To use as a foliar or irrigation fertilizer, dilute it to 10 percent (1 liter of liquid manure per 10 liters of water). For pest control, use a more diluted solution: approximately 1.5 liters of liquid manure per 100 liters of water. Avoid applying it undiluted, as it can burn the plants.

Preparation process

1) Cut the fresh stinging nettles before they bloom and chop them coarsely. 2) Submerge all the nettles in 10 liters of water in a non-metallic container. 3) Stir well to ensure they are completely submerged. 4) Cover the container without sealing it tightly, allowing the fermentation gases to escape. 5) Stir the mixture every 2 days. 6) Let it ferment for about 10 days, until it stops bubbling and gives off a strong, characteristic odor. 7) Strain the liquid and discard the plant matter (you can compost it).

Product obtained

A dark brown liquid with a strong odor, rich in nitrogen and minerals, used in diluted form as a foliar or irrigation fertilizer and, when diluted even further, as a repellent for certain pests.
