Short fermentation of aloe vera and epazote leaves in water, with soap, used on vegetables, tomato, maize and bean by peri-urban farmers in Medellín.
Application description: Diluted, in the afternoon (preferably after 3 p.m.).
Dose: 2 L of preparation in 18 L of water.
Watch the fermentation time and the rate: according to the source, too much aloe vera can scorch plants. Keeps one month in a cool, dry place. Before any use, check your country's regulations: in the EU, a homemade preparation presented for plant-protection use is not authorised.
1. Crush the aloe vera and epazote.
2. Mix with the 2 L of water.
3. Ferment for 3 days in the shade, covered with sacking or cloth.
3 days.
Greenish, frothy liquid.
